An Arlington, TX homeowner stabbed an intruder with a pumpkin carving knife after the suspect ran into the man’s home. The intruder had earlier stolen a car, stolen gas, wrecked the stolen car and then ran inside the Arlington family’s home.

The family was inside the home in the middle of carving pumpkins when the man entered. The father, Scott Hackney, struggled with the carjacker and stabbed him in the back with the pumpkin carving knife.
