This is a fascinating look into people who have made their own Stonehenge replicas. According to the blog Clonehenge there are 78 large permanent replicas around the world and many may be in states or provinces right near you.
The one I found the most interesting was of Wally Wallington in Flint, Michigan who made his using only sand, wood and rocks and using no modern equipment whatsoever. Here is a short clip on his venture:

It's great to see that people want to solve these mysteries through practical application and really only serves to show the ingenuity and amazing talent of the ancients who erected such monuments.
