I rarely criticize the writers on the main page, and I have no axe to grind with this particular author at all, but, really, this has to be one of the worst sentences ever written, anywhere, ever, by anyone: "Dreher is being held on an arson charge, which she has plead not guilty to." Why not say, "An arson charge is on what Dreher is being held, not guilty to which she has pleadeded"?
