After reading Gamecat235's post reminding me that Deltron 3030: the collaboration between Del the Funkee Homosapien and Dan the Automator, is coming out with a new record in October I've been listening to their first record Deltron 3030 again. It's one of the most innovative records of its time and even now I'm finding a hard time finding an equal.

This is "3030" which sets up the entire concept of the album: dropping references to anime, Sci Fi books, television, movies and comics. And yet somehow Del manages to work in commentary on the human condition of his dystopia: calling for rebellion, empowerment and doing what good Sci Fi does best: explore the human condition.
