I am thinking of making a batch of manti, but instead of cooking them normally and serving with broth, of cooking them in shakshuka instead of the eggs.

We all like shakshuka, and have it for any meal - and I was planning on having it tomorrow but found a package of ground lamb in the freezer nearing the end of its little frozen lifespan. We love lamb so I have no idea how it got to be almost 6 months old, and much longer and it will start to get freezer burn and be mostly useless for the better recipes. We like manti, and Phlip is due home from rehab, she is now certified able to gallumpf around on her crutches and not fall over [much] and her favorite meats are lamb and duck so the manti is a good idea. Hope it turns out well, it sounds promising.
