A staffer for Senatorial candidate Chris McDaniels, a ranking official of the Mississippi Tea Party, and one other person found themselves locked in a Hinds County (Miss.) Courthouse after they gained entry through a propped open door at 2 a.m. following Mississippi's primary. They were forced to call the Hinds County Sheriff's office in order to be freed.

McDaniels ran as the Tea Party candidate against six term Senator Thad Cochran in the republican primary and they appear to be headed for a runoff, with McDaniels' lead failing to reach the 50 percent threshold.

McDaniels was recently connected through other staffers to a blogger who is charged with illegally gaining entry into Cochran's wife's nursing home and taking photos of her.
