I think my brother is a bad ass. He writes minimalist music with inspiration from David Lang, Philip Glass, Steve Reich and others. He had a piece performed recently by the JACK Quartet, and I wanted to share it with you because one it's awesome and two he's my brother.

For those of you unfamiliar with the minimalist music style, the sound may come off as grating, repetitive, and uncomfortable (for a nice primer, I'd recommend listening to Steve Reich's Tehillim or David Lang's Amelia, both are beautiful vocal/string pieces that are easy on the ears and were written for a slightly newer audience). You'll likely find if you listen more to the genre, it's actually quite addictive. Anyways, enjoy!
