Is it just me or is this political ad for the Alabama Public Service Commission way funnier than the candidate intended? As I see it, it illustrates the Alabama Republican Party's view of Alabamian voters as just a bunch of trained rats. No connection to the office or the issues until they hear the magic cue words "Obama" and "the EPA". At which point reflexes that have been subliminally trained over the last decade kick in jolting the voter into agreement with the candidate.
