I'm watching this right now and wow, it's pretty intense. I'm an old so i remember the World Cup being in Pasadena and I remember how difficult things were in Columbia and the big fuss about Pablo Escobar's death. But I don't remember hearing much about Columbia after the World Cup, but that says more about where I was in that time of my life. In addition to how slow the internet was in the nineties.

I'm still processing, but if you have the time it's definitely worth watching. I found myself wondering about corruption at the current World Cup and about the teams who come from countries that aren't stable. Certainly there is much more behind the glitz and the games than we can ever hope to be aware of.
