I received an email yesterday telling me that our 1.2 test has been well-circulated among the Product Team and thanking us for helping run Kinja through its paces. There's more of us than there are of them, so it's easier for us to do tests involving more people because they would have to log out, log in and waste burners to do the same.

Because the developers are likely to reference the post in the future, plus we can keep a check on it ourselves, I'm going to leave it as is, without blogger intervention. @ajnikgnitset has not starred any comments and while I'll prune any branch which I deem offensive, I'm just going to leave it as it is for now. When left to its own devices, with no circles or whatnot, the post shows what Kinja will do and that should evolve with updates.

As for why it shows all 74 comments as "featured", while it doesn't do the same on the ad-supported sites, I don't know. I'm also confused as to why when I timestamp into this comment, I have to timestamp down twice to get to a larger chunk of the thread and because there's at least one unindicated pivot at @Ghost's House of Cards pics, I'm not sure how we're supposed to get a full picture of the thread.

Everyone has cautioned me and I'm going to pass it along: Kinja 1.2 is a work in progress. It is not at its final version and all the beta tests are helping them work out the kinks.

If anyone wants to go back over there and add deeper levels and more complexity, it certainly couldn't hurt. I'll try to keep a check on the post and if I see any big changes, I'll give out a shout. Hopefully if someone else sees any changes or would like to alert me that I should look, they'll do the same.
