Phoenix Suns forward Micheal Beasley was just arrested for marijuana possession. It's the second time he's been arrested, and according to ESPN he's potentially facing felony charges. He was also fined $50k during an NBA Rookie Transition Camp after his hotel room reeked of some dank.

I'm pretty surprised that after Colorado and Seattle legalized weed we haven't seen any free agents head to either locale. Sure, smoking pot would still violate the NFL and NBA's substance abuse policies (players are randomly tested throughout the year, although the NBA's drug program has a cap on the number of times you can be tested - after which a lot of players know they can smoke their brains out), but wouldn't life be a lot easier if you weren't looking at a felony charge? For that matter, if I was being recruited out of high school, both states would be a lot higher on my list.

But hey, apparently kids aren't poking as much smot as they used to these days anyway...
