I managed to break my right pinky finger last week with a very heavy ladder. I've always been a right-shift key kind of guy, and my poor crippled finger cries out every time I reach for shift or return. The break is right around the joint closest to the tip of my finger, and any kind of fingertip action feels like death all the way up to my wrist.

Of course it hurts, but the annoying distraction is almost worse than the pain itself. I bought a new mouse today (apple magic mouse) and was surprised to find that it is way more painful to use than the trackpad.

For some reason my dogs have no sympathy and really couldn't care less, so thanks Crosstalk for letting me vent.
