In a hard fought election, Post held back Cat. Though as happens in a lot of elections, fewer than a quarter of those registered cast ballots and there were more votes for the combined opponents than the victor. 58% of the votes were for a candidate other than Post.
For anyone not familiar with Post and what it symbolizes in regards to Crosstalk, I gave a quick explanation and provided a couple of links about a month ago and in case you missed it earlier, I fielded some proposed guidelines as to how a new election can be called. If there's not significant objection, Post could be subject to a recall petition beginning on Dec. 27th.
Otherwise, the final vote and write-in candidates were as follows. As far as I'm concerned, this has all been fun and I hope everyone had a good time. We should do it again, someday.
