Japanese photographer Tatsuki Masara has been documenting the truck-driving subculture known as Decotora. These truck drivers dress up their rigs in bright lights and big colors, trying to impress each other and, presumably, break up the tedium of driving long distances alone.

I have to wonder what would happen if US drivers saw something like this barreling down the Interstate late at night. For all I know, having all these lights might be illegal on a US highway.
