I had my first handpie. It wasn't extravagant but a little blueberry handpie from a local bakery and as I pretended that I didn't just tell everyone "BACK TO THE OLD DIET", I ate that handpie and I think I finally saw a glimpse of the Divine. Yes, God sacrificed his only son in the form of a delicious handpie I ate this morning. Amen.

I have found some recipes recently: http://www.thekitchn.com/hello-handpies…

This might be a great way to avoid work this weekend so the anxiety can just build even more.

This is not my handpie but one that I consider making, nonetheless. Also, #teampie

You can also make savory handpies, which sound delicious.

I bet I could make a Quail handpie if I go to my local quail farmer and buy some quail. There really is a local quail guy who has to be used. It might be a really interesting flavor. I'm a big fan of savory pies. If I follow through, more later on that.
