For a webcomic that has a condom in its logo, Least I Could Do can be surprisingly relevant.

This comic is, nominally, about an unrepentant sex-addicted manipulative opportunist, and aside from the surprisingly warm-hearted Sunday comics about main character Rayne's childhood, most of the series seems to be about the libido-influenced misadventures of a well-meaning sociopath.

And yet, the series has delved into topical commentary on spy programs and satirical takes on North Korea's latest dear leader.

This week, LICD has eschewed hedonism in favor of altruism. And dang it, the relative obscurity of the philanthropic references can be enlightening.

Might be worth a look.
