It’s the most wonderful time of the year. And by that I mean the time in which, “I’ll fix the diabetes after New Years” is uttered when eating that 5th cookie you shouldn’t be eating.

So, since winter is approaching and the depression and anxiety will be climbing, I’m hoping to attempt to fight it by making tasty desserts. This weekend I think I’m going to try some pumpkin ice cream and soft, chewy snickerdoodles. It’s the snickerdoodles that I fear right now but we’ll cross that cinnamon stick bridge when we get to it.

But! How about we all share our favorite dessert recipes now so we all have time to be that person with the platter of sweets saying, “A dear friend of mine gave me this recipe” and go all-out-Martha? We can toss in some savory stuff too for the hell of it.
